Clementine the Dog needs a home
The most striking thing about Clementine may be her large eyes and thick " eyeliner" that are a gorgeous contrast against her light tan color. But her beauty is more than fur-deep. Clementine loves people and is playful and affectionate. Born in 2012, she came to Best Friends from a rescue organization that was closing its doors. Clementine has shown guarding behaviors towards other dogs while in her crate with a meal. She can also be a bit rude when trying to initiate play with other dogs. If she will have a doggie " sibling? in a home, it will need to be one who is very tolerant and/or a dog who will gently correct her. At Dogtown, she is working on crate training, sitting nicely for her food and training cues such as " sit,? " down? and " touch? to touch her nose to someone's hand. She'll do best in an active home.
